From the moment I walked through the door of this extraordinary renovated barn, it was clear that I was in for a treat. My eyes were drawn directly to the antique wooden staircase in the center of the room that so pleasantly added interest to the spacious open floor plan. As I made my way through the living area into the dining room towards the kitchen, it was immediately clear that the attention to detail in this design was extraordinary. As my eyes moved from the finished beamed ceilings to the pristine pine flooring, I noticed things like the sconces built into the wall that hugged the dining room table. I could cook in this kitchen all day, I said when I rounded the corner it is a cook s kitchen. And then to the other side of the staircase, passed the door to the sparkling powder room and into a large, private foyer. A seemingly ancient and comfortable green sofa sat by a more formal front door then the one I came through. What a great space for an office, or play room just about anything, I remember thinking. And then, up the gentle stairs to four delightful bedrooms anchored by a cozy and spacious master bedroom suite. A newly installed raised paneled wall, cleverly built to disguise a chimney for the furnace downstairs, made a perfect headboard to rest the bed in front of. A large curvy patio out the back door lead me to a two and a half car garage with a full sized second floor, currently used as a complete gym, yoga and workout room. Looking out a window to the back of the property, I could see a seating area with a tidy fire pit and could easily imagine family and friends enjoying an evening in the woods.
