Historical Building Site on Main Street in Silver City, NV; this is part of the Comstock Historic District with a rich history of the Mining Community of the Donovan Mill and just a short distance from the Historical Marker of the first Gold Strike and Devil's Gate. Zoned C2 it is the only commercial building site currently availble in Silver City, possibly a combination of commercial and residential. Originally there was a 2 story home on the site, built at street level and there is some remaining rock foundation. A seasonal creek in back of the property and the remaining buildings of Silver City reflect the quaint charm of the area. The property has a documented history of owners and their origins and family. To view the property, drive from Hiway 50 to Hiway 341 and then on Hiway 342 through Silver City toward Virginia City. The access road to the building site is on the Left across from the Historic Firehouse in Silver City.
