The Views of Cranberry is a small, gated community of home sites located in the mountains of western North Carolina. This subdivision is approximately 15 minutes from Banner Elk, a quaint mountain village between the Beech Mountain and Sugar Mountain ski areas. Banner Elk is known as the culinary hotspot of the North Carolina High Country featuring everything from five-star white-linen dining, to upscale casual dining, down-home cooking and tasty delis. Local craft breweries and wineries are also nearby. Known for its mountain attractions, excellent weather and beautiful landscapes, Banner Elk is a great place to live or visit anytime of the year. Folks come to this area for a short getaway or longer vacation every season of the year. While here, they may enjoy snow skiing at either of our two ski mountains, Beech and Sugar mountains. Both are premier winter ski resorts and convert to downhill mountain biking trails during the summer. The area is also great for hiking, fishing, golf, cultural events or just relaxing in our cool summer evenings.
