Perfectly sized all timbered hunting tract just a few mile outside of town! This super secluded property enjoys access via a rarely used spur of N Cherry St. and is located just west of Hunley Creek. A lowland bog area in the south eastern corner of the property is part of a 10 acre swamp that holds water year round. Numerous wood ducks and teal, along with pileated and red headed wood peckers were seen during our visits to the property. This swampy area is part of a much larger 50+/- acre wetland that surrounds the property from the east. This block of timber is providing high quality cover and critical fawning/nesting habitat in the summer. In the fall, the property backs up to a major travel corridor. Surrounded by large ag fields with access to year round water and incredible escape, bedding, and nesting cover...its no wonder the deer and turkeys want to be here!
